Meet the Team

Lee Blitch is a native to Augusta, graduating from The Academy of Richmond County HS in 2005 and The University of Georgia, with a BBA in Risk Management and Insurance from the Terry College of Business in 2009. 

Lee has been with the Whit Blanchard Insurance Group since January 2011. He began his career as an account associate, assisting current and new clients to better understand how their policy protects them. As Lee’s career progressed, he became a Producer which allowed him to foster and expand his network of clients in the local community and beyond. In November of 2021, Lee purchased Whit Blanchard Insurance Group from founder E Whit Blanchard. He continues to work in the agency with his team to serve its loyal clients.

Outside of his professional life, Lee continues to engage with local civic & networking groups, to include Leadership Augusta, Young Professional of Augusta, Augusta Ducks Unlimited, The Augusta Golf Association, Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Citizen’s Policy Academy, Pay-As-You Go Committee of the Richmond County Board of Education and The Heritage Club of Augusta.

Beyond all of this, Lee enjoys hunting and fishing at his family farm, as well as playing Golf at The Augusta Country Club. Most of all he loves spending time with his wife (Jenna), Children (Frannie & Cope) and Labrador Retriever (Mo).
